In Colca you have the upper part of the territory, around 4200 masl (2610 masl)

Here the climate is different. So it is in general in the Andes, a few kilometers beyond everything changes.

In this area, potatoes and other tubers are planted. Now is the time to pound the potato, here we still do it as our grandparents did hundreds of years ago with Chakitaclla and lampa.

The surrounding landscape is dominated by the green of the potatoes. Thanks to the aporque they will bloom and the green tones will be dressed in purple, red, white colors showing the variety of potatoes that are raised here.

We share this moment with the guys from Exploration Academy who visited us and helped us.
